Grapes grown in the mountains and ravines of nature
Yamano-kyo Ota Winery is located at the northernmost tip of Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
The town of Yamano, which has the prefectural natural park "Yamano-kyo," is a naturally rich area where the temperature difference is very suitable for grape cultivation. We began winemaking tentatively in 2015, battling with natural companions such as monkeys and wild boars. Currently, we grow 9 types of grapes on our own approximately 2-hectare vineyard.
