Among them, the booth of “Bellwood Vineyard,” a rising-star winery in the host city of Kaminoyama, stood out for the large number of visitors who gathered there.
This time, we spoke with Mr. Suzuki of Bellwood Vineyard, which opened in autumn 2020, about his thoughts and passion for winemaking.
It would not be an exaggeration to say that the appeal of Bellwood Vineyard reflects the personality of its representative, Mr. Suzuki.
The wines directly convey the feeling that his affection for local grapes has been transformed into wine. Their wonderful character is sure to bring another fresh wave to Yamagata, where winemaking continues to gain momentum!
