Growing Grapes Begins with Building the Soil
The foundation of high-quality grape growing is healthy soil.
By using house-made bokashi compost, no-till grass-cover cultivation, and reduced-pesticide farming, we work to increase soil microorganisms and create loose, living soil that supports healthy vines.
We also benefit fully from the terroir of Makioka, ideal for grape growing thanks to abundant sunshine, south-facing slopes, large day-night temperature differences, and well-drained land.
The fertile soil produces grapes with high sugar levels and pronounced varietal flavor and richness.
We devote both skill and care to drawing out the character of every berry and continually pursue one goal: making them even more delicious.
We invite you to experience the abundant, vibrant flavors born from the combined power of earth, nature, and people.
