Vineyard
At Tottori Winery, our vineyards pursue three environmentally conscious initiatives:
1. Cover-crop cultivation: weeds are mowed rather than controlled with herbicides, returning organic matter to the vineyard.
2. We use materials derived from natural ingredients and reduce synthetic chemical inputs as much as possible.
3. We use renewable energy through power shifting.
Grapes are the true protagonists of winemaking; the people who care for them should remain behind the scenes. We work every day to cultivate grapes suited to the geography, climate and character of Kokufu.
