Here we make wine in a way that can only be done here, living together with nature.
The winery grows grapes by facing the natural environment of this land without disrupting its ecosystem.\n\nLiving in harmony with nature and coexisting with the local community—this is winegrowing imbued with symbiosis, the guiding philosophy of Okuizumo Vineyard.
At Okuizumo Vineyard, located in the mountains, grape buds can sometimes freeze during the still-cold days of early spring.\n\nTo protect them, fires are lit from two in the morning to warm the vines.\n\nOnly the grapes themselves can determine their flavor. The winery simply does what little people can do—with diligence and care.
Relax on the lawn and enjoy the feeling of slowing down. That simple wish inspired this café.\n\nPlease enjoy the scenery and fresh air that only an outdoor setting can offer.
