ABOUT
Domaine Chaud is a small winery where a husband-and-wife team passionately makes small quantities of wine from 100% Japanese-grown grapes.
We think from the soil upward and make wine simply.
“Domaine” is the French term used in Burgundy for an estate that grows grapes and makes wine. Domaine Chaud is our own small domaine, named from the “sho” in the Kobayashi couple’s name.
In French, “chaud” also means “hot” or “passionate.” We make wine with that same passionate spirit.
