Hakodate Wine aims to craft "Japanese wine" that suits the Japanese palate. Of course, rather than simply imitating Western techniques and tastes, it creates wines that are casual yet authentic, keeping the Japanese lifestyle in mind.

In nature-rich Hokkaido, it boasts Japan's largest cultivated area for wine-grape production. At the center of this is the Yoichi district, where raw-material grapes are cultivated through contract farmers. Furthermore, in recent years, grapes have also been cultivated in the Donan (southern Hokkaido) region, allowing you to experience the terroir of various areas across vast Hokkaido.
