ABOUT
Domaine Mont founder Atsuo Yamanaka trained for two years, from 2014 to 2016, in cultivation and winemaking under Takahiko Soga of Domaine Takahiko.
He became independent in spring 2016 and now runs a small farm and winery in Nobori, Yoichi Town, Hokkaido, at around 50 meters elevation.
The property is about 3 hectares, with 1.5 hectares planted to roughly 5,000 vines, all Pinot Gris.
