
Founded in 1988
In 1988, Chuo Budoshu Co., Ltd. of Koshu, Yamanashi established this facility as its second winery and began producing fruit wine from haskap, a Chitose specialty known as the “fruit of longevity.”
In 2011, the company was renamed Hokkaido Chuo Budoshu Co., Ltd. Chitose Winery, and it has continued working to build Hokkaido’s identity as a wine-producing region while pursuing winemaking rooted in the island.
