Our Estate Vineyard, “Kaze no Vineyard”
Our estate vineyard, with about 3 hectares under vine, lies on a gentle south-facing slope at the southernmost edge of the Nobori district in Yoichi. We named it “Kaze no Vineyard,” or “Vineyard of the Wind,” because southerly winds pass through toward Yoichi Bay.
We grow Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, and Merlot.
Believing there is much to learn from coexisting with insects commonly called “pests,” we cultivate the vineyard while disturbing its ecosystem as little as possible.
