Nakaizu Winery Chateau T.S Marks Its 25th Anniversary, with Commemorative Wines and More Set for Release

On January 15, 2025, Nakaizu Winery Chateau T.S will celebrate its 25th anniversary.

To mark the occasion, the winery plans to release a “25th Anniversary Wine,” “Limited-Production Wines,” and cellar-released “Long-Aged Wines” in succession.

Here are the details.

About the Commemorative Wines

The following wines will be released to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Nakaizu Winery Chateau T.S.

★Three 25th-anniversary label wines, limited to 250 bottles each (sold only at the winery shop)

Starting in January, wines with special 25th-anniversary labels will go on sale.

Several grape varieties have been carefully selected from the 2024 harvest.

The lineup is designed to be worthy of the anniversary, including grapes harvested for the first time and original blends.

Here are the details.

First release: 【Izu Rosé 2024】 / Wednesday, January 15, 2025 / Limited to 250 bottles at the shop

This rosé is made from four varieties: Merlot, Yama Sauvignon, Syrah, and Cabernet Franc, the last of which had been cultivated as an experimental variety for the future and was harvested here for the first time in 2024.

The wine has a pale copper color with a slight pink hue, enhanced by brilliance and shine. The palate is light and gentle, with savory depth and a lingering finish developing through the mid-palate.

The second release is planned for May and the third for September.

In addition to these wines, the winery also plans limited releases of serial-numbered “Limited-Production Wine” series bottles and a long-aged wine series.

Other Anniversary Events

In addition to the limited wines, beginning Wednesday, January 15, every 2,500th visitor to the winery will receive a commemorative gift.

The winery also plans to give away original eco bags and release a special six-bottle 25th-anniversary set featuring six of Nakaizu Winery’s leading wines.

Why not visit the winery during this special anniversary period?
