Asaya Winery was founded in 1921 in Katsunuma, Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture.

In Katsunuma, the home of Japanese grapes, it is uncompromising about growing and selecting high-quality local grapes

and about the winemaking techniques needed to bring out the full appeal of that fruit,

working toward wines that make the most of the terroir of their origin.

Visitors can taste and purchase from the winery's broad lineup of wines.

Reservation-only paid winery tours, which visit the production area inside the facility and the underground cellar, are also popular.

These wines are made from locally grown Yamanashi grapes.

Red, white, rosé, sparkling — each is crafted to express the character of its grapes and the local terroir.
