ABOUT
In Ohasama, Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture, we grow wine grapes and have made and sold estate-produced wine since 2015.
Guided by words learned in Austria, we grow healthy grapes at proper ripeness and use them as our winemaking fruit.
To bring out the flavor of the grapes as fully as possible, vinification is carried out gently so as not to place unnecessary stress on the must or wine.
Making the most of the climate and terroir of Ohasama, where I was born and raised, we aim for a style that is “soft, yet with a firm core.”
