On Saturday, March 16, the Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project will host a special dinner event in collaboration with Kyotamba winery "Tamba Wine."
This event is exclusively for guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba on that day.

What is the "Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project"?
The "Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project" is a joint project between Marriott International Japan and Sekisui House to develop hotels adjacent to "Michi-no-Eki" (roadside stations) throughout Japan, aiming to revitalize local economies.
Currently operating a total of 29 hotels from Hokkaido to Kyushu in collaboration with local governments across Japan, the project advocates a travel style centered on exploring regions using the hotels as bases.
The "Tamba Wine Winery Dinner" at Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba was also organized as an event to help visitors get to know Kyotamba more deeply, and this will be its 6th installment.
About the Special Dinner Event
At this special dinner, guests will enjoy a special winery dinner featuring seasonal Kyotamba vegetables, game meat, Kyotamba Pork, and Kyoto Wagyu beef, along with 4 types of pairing wines.
One of the pairing wines is "Kyoto Tamba Pinot Noir Rosé 2021."
Fruity notes of cherries and strawberries, along with herbal aromas like mint, harmonize in fine balance with gentle acidity, making it a distinctly Kyoto-style Pinot Noir rosé.
Furthermore, the pairing with the game meat dish is "Kyoto Tamba Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot 2020."
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Tannat grown in Kyotamba vineyards were aged in wooden casks. The fruit flavors, refined acidity, and tannins are wonderfully harmonized, offering the true pleasure of aged wine.
