Over two days, Friday and Saturday, December 19–20, 2025, the Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project will hold a winery dinner event in collaboration with Kyotamba winery Tamba Wine.

This Time: An “All-Strawberry Christmas Special Dinner”
The “Tamba Wine Winery Dinner,” which lets guests experience the appeal of Kyotamba in Kyoto Prefecture, is a popular event that the Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project has held since 2022.
This edition will be an “All-Strawberry Christmas Special Dinner” featuring generous use of strawberries from Seishiro Farm in Kyotamba.
The farm’s Akihime strawberries are known for their vivid red color, low acidity, and pronounced sweetness.
At the dinner, dishes from the appetizer through dessert are expected to showcase the appeal of Akihime strawberries to the fullest.
Program and Pairing Wines
The dinner consists of an amuse-bouche, appetizer, pasta, fish dish, meat dish, Christmas dessert, coffee, and five pairing wines—a Christmas special dinner featuring Japanese Black beef and strawberries from Seishiro Farm.
The Akihime strawberries will be paired with Kyoto Tamba Tegumi, a sparkling wine made without added sulfites.
Made by co-fermenting multiple grape varieties grown in Kyoto Tamba, the wine offers complexity and a succession of aromas and flavors. Because the lees and yeast are bottled as-is, the taste can also change from one pour to the next.
Tamba Wine will also serve other carefully selected wines matched to the dinner.
This dinner is a special event exclusively for guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba on the event dates.
