Qe to Hare Inc. has opened "6ishiki", a private rental villa-style hotel created by renovating a 100-year-old traditional Japanese folk house.
Pairings centered around Tamba Wine are also said to be available.
Here are the details.
An Inn of Art and Sauna
6ishiki is a hotel created by renovating a large, 100-year-old traditional Japanese folk house in Kameoka City, Kyoto Prefecture, also known as the City of Mist.
Its concept is said to be offering experiences of mindful moments scattered throughout everyday life.
Works by Hideyuki Tanaka, who is the owner of this inn and also an active artist, are exhibited in each room.
Featuring an all-cypress private Finnish-style sauna where you can enjoy your preferred temperature up to 90°C, it has become a unique spot aiming to be an "inn of art and sauna."
Tamba Wine with Kaiseki Dining
The hotel offers "Sa-Kaiseki" (= Sauna Kaiseki), a post-sauna meal for guests after reaching a refreshed "totonotta" state.
Supervised by the long-established Kyoto cuisine restaurant Matsushō with an original menu, guests can enjoy seasonal dining served in their rooms, featuring seasonal organic Kyoto vegetables harvested locally in Kameoka.
In addition, plans such as a gibier course and pairing options are available to upgrade the standard course.
In the first place, the young proprietor of Kyoto Cuisine Matsushō, which provides the Sa-Kaiseki, is a chef who has also served as a sommelier for around 14 years, possessing deep knowledge of wine.
Currently, a plan featuring pairings centered on Tamba Wine matched with the seasonal multi-course dinner is available.
Spend an Exquisite Time
"6ishiki" is the perfect hotel for adults leading overly busy daily lives.
Why not fully indulge in sauna, art, local ingredients, and Tamba Wine?
