About the Special Dinner Event
This upcoming special dinner event, titled the "Tamba Wine Winery Dinner," is an event that the Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project has been hosting since 2022 to let guests experience the charms of Kyotamba Town, Kyoto Prefecture.
The program features a premium winery tour offering a cellar tasting experience of private reserve wines—not normally open to the public—as well as a special dinner course lavishly incorporating ingredients from Kyotamba.
Event Details
At the special dinner event, a winery tour and a cellar tasting experience of private reserve wines in the barrel cellar will be held.
For dinner, guests can enjoy a dinner course featuring Kyotamba gibier (venison) and seasonal local vegetables, paired with 4 types of wine.
The gibier will be venison from Kyotamba, and the paired wine will be "Kyoto Tamba Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot 2020."
This wine, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Tannat grown in the Kyoto Tamba vineyard and aged separately in wooden barrels, features complexity that pairs exceptionally well with gibier dishes.
Naturally, other wines carefully selected by Tamba Wine to match the cuisine will also be served.
