Manns Wines has released three white wines from the 2025 vintage of “Solaris.”
“Solaris Chikuma River Shinano Riesling” and “Solaris Chikuma River Sauvignon Blanc” go on sale May 18, while “Solaris Chikuma River Chardonnay” will be available from June 1.
2025 Climate and Grape Growing Conditions
Like 2024, 2025 brought a warm spring, and grape budding reportedly began earlier than usual.
The defining features of 2025 were record-low rainfall and high temperatures.
Although some vineyards experienced lower yields, the harvested fruit was generally of high quality, producing healthy grapes with an excellent balance of sugar and acidity.
