Fairfield by Marriott's Michi-no-Eki Project will hold a winery dinner event on Saturday, April 26, in collaboration with Tamba Wine, a winery in Kyotamba.
The event is limited to guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba on the day of the event.
Here are the details.
About the “Tamba Wine Winery Dinner”
The “Tamba Wine Winery Dinner” is a popular program that the Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project has held since 2022, offering guests a chance to experience the appeal of Kyotamba Town in Kyoto Prefecture.
This time, the dinner will feature a spring vegetable and Kyoto duck course, together with an assemblage (blending) experience enjoyed with the winemaker while hearing behind-the-scenes stories from the winery. The meal will include an amuse-bouche, appetizer, potage or pasta, a main dish featuring Kyoto Duck®, dessert, coffee, and four pairing wines.
Enjoy “Kyoto Tamba Tegumi” as well
One of the pairing wines will be “Kyoto Tamba Tegumi,” a sparkling wine made by co-fermenting multiple grape varieties and bottling without filtration together with yeast and lees, with no added antioxidants.
Tamba Wine will also prepare a selection of pairing wines chosen to complement the dishes.
After arriving at Tamba Wine, participants are also scheduled to take part in a premium winery tour, including an assemblage experience in the barrel cellar.
If this sounds appealing, consider joining the event.
