About the Cherry Blossom Color Wine Fair
The Cherry Blossom Color Wine Fair is an event centered on "Kyoho Rosé," an annual classic wine from Nakaizu Winery Hills.
Starting from mid-February each year, about 1,000 cherry trees burst into bloom across the "Nakaizu Winery Chateau T.S" and "Hotel Winery Hill" areas, beginning with "Kawazu cherry blossoms" heralding early spring, followed by "Shuzenji cold cherry blossoms," "double cherry blossoms," and Japan's representative "Somei Yoshino."
Named after those "cherry blossom colors," this fair is themed around "Kyoho Rosé," a wine recommended for this season.
About "Kyoho Rosé"
"Kyoho Rosé," recommended by Nakaizu Winery Hills during this fair, is an exquisite gem that won "Gold" at the 2023 "SAKURA Awards" competition.
Although the Kyoho grape originally originated in Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, where this facility is located, this rosé wine uses Kyoho grown in Yamanashi Prefecture, known as an ideal region for its cultivation, creating a sweet and fruity wine with a beautiful rosé color and an elegant aroma.
It is sweet, with an alcohol content of 11%.
In addition, during the fair period, the restaurant "Napa Valley" offers a "Cherry Blossom Color Afternoon Tea" limited to 5 guests per 1 day.
Guests can enjoy an elegant moment with this special afternoon tea that includes a glass of "Kyoho Rosé" wine.
