Goto Winery Plans to Open a New Facility in April 2027

Goto Winery Co., Ltd. has announced plans to open a new facility integrating wine production, a restaurant, and a shop in April 2027.

It will be the first “stay-and-experience” winery of its kind in Nagasaki Prefecture.

Here are the details.

About the New Facility

The new facility planned by Goto Winery will combine wine production, a restaurant, and a retail shop.

Working in conjunction with an existing lodging facility, it aims to become a new tourism hub where visitors can experience Goto’s nature, food, and wine as one integrated journey.

Facility Highlights

Key features include:

〇A restaurant where guests can dine while watching wine being made

Designed so guests can enjoy dishes made with Goto ingredients and wine while viewing the winemaking process through large glass windows.

〇An open terrace facing Mt. Onidake

A location with panoramic views of Mt. Onidake, one of Goto’s iconic landscapes.

Pet-friendly terrace seating is also planned.

〇An integrated wine purchasing, experience, and stay concept

Wine production, retail, dining, and lodging will be brought together to create “a place that gives people a reason to visit.”

〇A sustainable model utilizing local resources

By making use of grapes grown in Goto and encouraging longer visitor stays, the facility aims to contribute to the local economy and agricultural development.

The company plans to begin releasing information and accepting reservations in stages from 2026, ahead of the opening.
