About the Renewed VineSpa
Recently, the hot spring facility VineSpa at Cave d'Occi reopened as a space of intellect and healing, functioning as a wine & book lounge where guests can relax surrounded by numerous books.
Every corner of the building has been transformed into bookshelves, housing approximately 4,000 books organized across different areas according to 10 themes.
While VineSpa was previously accessible only for hot spring use, guests can now enter freely to use it as a book lounge.
Guests can now enjoy their stay in various ways, such as experiencing the rich nature of Niigata and winery activities, or immersing themselves in the hot springs and the world of books while savoring the slow passage of time.
Book Direction by Yoshitaka Haba
The book curation for the facility was directed by Yoshitaka Haba of BACH Ltd.

Careful Attention to Interior Design
The interior design was handled by Ai Yoshida of etc inc., supervised by SUPPOSE DESIGN OFFICE Co., Ltd.
In the book lounge, where you can relax barefoot, intimate seating nestled among the bookshelves, a deck terrace in the courtyard, seats dappled with sunlight, tiered sofa seating, and more have been designed to offer a rich experience and slow-paced time unique to this space.
It has created a luxurious space where visitors can step away from everyday life and enjoy a pleasant time.
