Château Mercian is renewing the packaging of three wines in its Quality Series: Château Mercian Aiakane (750ml, red), Moegi (750ml, white), and Momoiro (750ml, rosé).
The renewed products will go on sale Tuesday, April 11.
Here are the details.
About the “Quality” Series
Château Mercian’s “Quality” Series expresses the terroir of Japan by blending wines made from Japanese-grown grapes cultivated with care and dedication.
“Quality” is one of the brand’s three series, alongside “Icon” and “Terroir.”
About the Products
This time, the packaging of “Château Mercian Aiakane” and “Moegi” is being renewed.
The new design expresses complete harmony of flavor through a circular motif and uses Japanese-style washi paper and foil to create a more premium, refined appearance.
In addition, to make it clearer that these are blended wines, a global trend, “RED BLEND” has been added to Aiakane and “WHITE BLEND” to Moegi.
Château Mercian says it will gradually shift toward winemaking unconstrained by production area, grape variety or vintage in order to further refine its style.
Looking Forward to the New Design
According to Château Mercian, it aims to continue creating representative Japanese blended wines with greater depth and complexity, where the flavors of diverse Japanese grapes come together in harmony like a Japanese garden.
We look forward to seeing the new designs.
