ABOUT
For more than forty years we have made wine here in Echigo-Uonuma, where snow reaches three meters from early winter until spring cultivation begins.
We succeeded in trellised grape growing in this mountainous heavy-snow region and have developed wines highly regarded by professionals.
The roots of winemaking lie in agriculture. Add the human skill and wisdom of fermentation to an agricultural crop, and it might be called a “1.5-stage industry.”
Based on the concept “good wine begins with good wine grapes,” we continue challenging ourselves every day, working with local farmers to make even more delicious wine.
