Tomi City was once designated as Nagano Prefecture's first special wine zone, allowing fruit-wine licenses at one-third of the standard minimum production volume required under the Liquor Tax Act.
As a result, small wineries increased within the city, and many people moved to the area to begin farming. It continues to grow as a region with a diverse collection of distinctive wineries and vineyards.
Our defining approach is cultivation that draws out the grapes' inherent strength without using synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers. We aim to reveal the full potential of the fruit through fermentation with wild yeast, creating natural wines that are comfortable to drink and seem to soak gently into the body.
