Shiojiri in Nagano Prefecture is a naturally rich area where high-quality grapes are grown.
Since its founding in 1927, the company has worked in wine and juice production under the motto, “Always think and act from the customer’s point of view.”
In the 1970s, we formed the Alps Shipping Cooperative together with grape growers in Nagano Prefecture.
High-quality grapes carefully cultivated by the cooperative's members are supplied on a stable basis and transformed into delicious wines and juices.
In addition to Merlot, Chardonnay, and Black Queen, we grow many varieties including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, and Zweigeltrebe. We will continue expanding and further developing our estate vineyards.
To deliver products that customers can enjoy with confidence and peace of mind,
we carry out rigorous process control from raw-material cultivation through product shipment.
Alps Co., Ltd. obtained FSSC 22000 certification, a food-safety management system standard, in 2012, establishing an even more stringent quality-control system.
Quality attributes including acidity, aroma, and color are rigorously evaluated for every production lot.

Our well-organized factory is equipped with modern winemaking facilities and an automated warehouse system designed to prevent quality deterioration, enabling us to respond quickly to customer orders.
