ABOUT
Because the Ikeda Town Grape and Wine Research Institute resembles a medieval European castle, it naturally came to be known and loved as the “Wine Castle.”
Its underground aging cellar holds French oak barrels where wine sleeps quietly, along with numerous old vintages. The first floor has a shopping area for Tokachi Wine and other Ikeda specialties, while the fourth floor houses a restaurant—making the Wine Castle a place filled with things to enjoy.
