ABOUT
Because it resembles a medieval European castle, the "Ikeda Town Grape and Wine Research Institute" came to be affectionately nicknamed the "Wine Castle" by visitors and locals alike. In the underground aging cellar, you will find French oak barrels where wine quietly rests along with numerous old vintages; on the 1st floor is a shopping area where you can purchase Ikeda Town specialties, including Tokachi Wine; and on the 4th floor is a restaurant, making this "Wine Castle" a place full of enjoyment.
