Three Key Highlights of "Yatsugatake Evening Cool Apéro"

According to "Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Yatsugatake," there are three highlights to "Yatsugatake Evening Cool Apéro."
They are...
- A plaza overlooking the mountains with a cool breeze blowing through
- A daily rotating lineup of sparkling wines from Yamanashi and Nagano Prefectures
- Blueberry granita paired to perfection with sparkling wine
...these three elements.
What exactly does each entail?
A Plaza Overlooking the Mountains with a Cool Breeze Blowing Through
The setting for "Yatsugatake Evening Cool Apéro" is a plaza overlooking the Southern Alps right before your eyes and the Yatsugatake mountains on the other side.
On the terrace where cool breezes blow through, you can relax and enjoy sparkling wine while lounging on sofas or swaying in hammocks.
Daily Rotating Lineup of Sparkling Wines from Yamanashi and Nagano Prefectures
As mentioned at the beginning, a total of 10 varieties of sparkling wines from Yamanashi and Nagano Prefectures will be served on a daily rotating basis during this event.
Furthermore, specially prepared for this event is a sparkling wine with a RISONARE Yatsugatake original label by Domaine Hide (Minami-Alps City, Yamanashi Prefecture), a familiar name to NIHON WINE.JP readers.
Named "Gaku," it is a sparkling wine crafted to be enjoyed while admiring the Southern Alps and the Yatsugatake mountain range.
In addition, examples of the wines offered include...
Kizan Winery's "Kizan Sparkling Traditional Brut" and Azumino Winery's "Concord Sparkling," which are also scheduled to be served.
Blueberry Granita to Enjoy in Marriage with Sparkling Wine

Making a special appearance this time is "Granita," a classic Italian summer icy treat characterized by its crunchy, refreshing texture.
This exquisite dessert features blueberry granita and sweet white wine granita layered over yogurt espuma.
In addition to plenty of blueberries, strawberries and mint are also used as toppings.
The strawberries are of a variety cultivated by taking advantage of the cool climate of the Yatsugatake area that can be harvested even in summer, and when served, cool vapors of dry ice overflow from the bowl to create a visually cooling presentation.
Pairing it with fruit-forward sparkling wine allows you to enjoy the refreshing interplay of the granita and the sweet-tart flavor of fresh blueberries and strawberries.
