Starting Tuesday, January 14, Hokkaido Shintoku Tsukada Farm, also known as Tokachi Tsukada, will begin serving its winter recommended menu.
A pizza showcasing Tokachi ingredients will make its debut, and a Tokachi ice wine will also be offered in limited quantities.
Here are the details.
About the Winter Recommended Menu
Tokachi Tsukada’s winter menu brings together a range of Hokkaido specialties.
Offerings include “Minori Pizza” from Tokachi, created by former members of the company, fresh oysters from Akkeshi, fish and chips made with Hokkaido cod, grilled Himuro-stored vegetables from Sasaki Farm with a special bagna cauda sauce, and charcoal-grilled Shintoku chicken.
The Long-Awaited Ice Wine Also Arrives
Limited-edition “Yamasachi Ice Wine” and winter nouveau wines from Tokachi Wine in Ikeda, Hokkaido, are also joining the lineup.
Ice wine is a rare wine made from juice pressed from grapes harvested after freezing naturally on the vine. Its rich aroma and concentrated sweetness make it an excellent aperitif.
The sweetness and richness unique to ice wine also work especially well in the restaurant’s popular “Wine Ball” drink.
“Yamasachi Ice Wine” is available only in limited quantities, so consider ordering it when you visit.
