On December 28, 2024, "Yamano Day" will be held at "463PARLOUR (Shiromi Parlour)" on the 1st floor of Anchor Hotel Fukuyama in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
At this event, a pairing program featuring wines from Yamano Gorge Ota winery and canned foods will also be offered.

About "Yamano Day"
"Yamano Day" is an experiential event where you can see, touch, and taste the terroir of Yamano-cho, Fukuyama City.
The event features an indigo-dyeing experience by Aiya Terroir, which manages everything in Yamano-cho from indigo cultivation to making the sukumo dye and indigo dyeing, as well as a wine pairing experience matching wines from Yamano Gorge Ota winery with gourmet canned foods from "Hitotabi no Gochiso," a project celebrating the connection between people and food across Japan.
Pairing Japanese wine with Canned Foods!
The "Yamano Gorge Wine x Gourmet Canned Foods Pairing" will start at 18:00 on the day of the event.
Guests can enjoy wine pairings presented by Mr. Minematsu, the head winemaker at Yamano Gorge Ota winery, who engages closely with the grapes to craft each bottle carefully by hand amidst the rich nature of Yamano-cho, Fukuyama City.
For the pairing, "Hitotabi no Gochiso Canned Foods"—designed to savor the connections between people and food from Fukuyama and various parts of Japan—will be served.
These pairings are said to offer ideas that can easily be enjoyed in everyday life as well.
