Starting Thursday, June 1, "The 19th Yamagata Exhibition Commemorating the 90th Anniversary of Nihombashi Takashimaya" will be held at Nihombashi Takashimaya S.C.

"The 19th Yamagata Exhibition Commemorating the 90th Anniversary of Nihombashi Takashimaya" is an event bringing together around 40 shops featuring Yamagata delicacies and crafts, including sweets made with Yamagata-grown fruits and bento boxes featuring popular Yonezawa beef.
In addition, special project products commemorating the 90th anniversary of the opening of Nihombashi Takashimaya will also be available.
For popular sweets using Yamagata fruits, vendors such as Takahashi Fruitland (Kaminoyama City), Beau Champ de Blé (Yamagata City), and Pinot Collina Farm Garden & Winery Matsugaoka (Tsuruoka City) will make an appearance.
In addition, bento boxes from popular shops using Yonezawa beef and Yamagata seafood, such as Yonezawa Kohakudo (Yonezawa City), Gyotei Okazaki (Tsuruoka City), and Nagomi Nousan (Tendo City), will also be gathered.
And, of course, Yamagata wine!
At this event, various pairing menus are proposed under the theme of delicious pairings from Yamagata.
Among the wide variety of pairings available, including coffee and tea, the pairing menus featuring Yamagata wine are especially noteworthy.
Takahata Winery's "2022 Yoshi Sparkling Pinot Chardonnay" is recommended alongside Sake Kobo Yugyo's (Nishikawa Town) "Handmade Smoked Cherry Salmon Slice Pack" and Smoke House Fine's (Takahata Town) "Premium Domestic Pork Shoulder Loin Prosciutto."
