Starting November 1, they launched a project on Makuake offering an apple-scented white brandy—yielding merely 60 liters from 1 ton of apples—along with cider and juice made from the same apples to let backers create their own original cocktails, and it reached its goal on the very first day.
Due to the limited quantities, these sets are available exclusively through Makuake.

About This Project
This newly launched campaign by Winery Konohana marks their second Makuake project.
It is titled " Savor Akita Apples to the Fullest with an 'At-Home Bar'!"
With terms like "at-home izakaya" and "at-home bar" emerging as ways to enjoy alcoholic beverages at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, they devised this product line to give people an opportunity to make their favorite cocktails themselves.
It comes with simple recipes that anyone can follow, and because the white apple brandy, cider, and apple juice are all made from the same Akita apples, any combination will yield a delicious cocktail.
It is a unique project that allows you to enjoy crafting your own cocktails using precious Akita apples.

Akita Apple White Brandy
Distilled from "cider made from table-variety Fuji apples," this 42% ABV apple brandy is an unaged white brandy that sees no barrel maturation.
It features a sweet, fruity aroma of apples paired with spicy, slightly milky nuances reminiscent of apple pie and cinnamon.
Upon entering the mouth, an airy sweetness is sensed first, followed by a spreading crisp dryness that lingers into a long, deep finish—it is a signature offering from Winery Konohana.
Kazuno Cider Fuji
A cider made from table-variety Fuji apples, which the winery began producing in 2017.
Crafted exclusively from apple flesh after stems and seeds are removed one by one by hand, this cider is clean with no off-flavors, offering a sweet yet refreshingly non-cloying taste in a still (non-sparkling) style.
Apple Juice
Free of preservatives, artificial colors, antioxidants, and artificial sweeteners.
This is 100% straight apple juice—authentic and completely different from reconstituted juice.
Fuji Apples
Well-balanced apples with a crisp texture, abundant juice, low acidity, and robust sweetness and aroma.
The original cocktail recipes included with the rewards introduce staff favorites such as the "Diced Apple Cocktail," "Crisp & Light Long Cocktail," and "Slightly Strong Short Cocktail."
