About Taste of Hokkaido Wine & Cuisine
The upcoming "Taste of Yoichi Terroir" is a special edition of Taste of Hokkaido Wine & Cuisine hosted by UNWIND HOTEL & BAR Otaru.
Taste of Hokkaido Wine & Cuisine is a wine event where the hotel refocused on regionality, re-examined the charm and potential of wine, and invites wine professionals to enjoy pairings of food and wine at "The Ball Otaru," a magical hotel restaurant renovated from a historic building.
It is a popular event held regularly since July 2021, and this time, "Taste of Yoichi Terroir" will be held as a special edition.
Event Details
For the upcoming "Taste of Yoichi Terroir," Yuki Mita, a sommelier actively serving as a member of the Yoichi Town Local Vitalization Cooperator and a director of "Wine, Tokidoki Buta," has been invited as the presenter.
Mr. Mita, who revitalizes Yoichi Town through the medium of wine and has built immense trust and relationships with local winemakers in Yoichi Town, will share captivating anecdotes about Yoichi-produced wines and the charm of Yoichi Town that only he can tell.
In addition, the wine list is scheduled to include the following:
