Deepen Your Understanding of Wine! Vinoteras to Launch Akito Suzuki’s Wine Science Course in July 2026

Vinoteras will launch Akito Suzuki’s Wine Science Course in July 2026.

A must-see course for anyone interested in wine science, designed to help participants understand the “somehow” of wine through its underlying structure.

About the Wine Science Course

The Wine Science Course is offered by Vinoteras.

The instructor is Akito Suzuki, Representative Director of the Japan Blind Tasting Association. Drawing on knowledge from cutting-edge research, he selects wine-related information from scientific papers published overseas and shares it through his blog and lectures.

The course breaks down the elements perceived during tasting and scientifically explores factors such as acidity, aroma, tannins, and alcohol.

Course Content

The program consists of three sessions.

The first session covers topics such as malic acid, tartaric acid, and lactic acid; the second focuses on aromatic grape varieties for white wine; and the third examines differences in the quality of tannins in red wine. It is a compelling program for wine-science enthusiasts.

Each session comes with six to eight 100 ml sample bottles of wine and is held entirely online via Zoom.
