Keep Wine Tasting the Same for a Month: Patented-Vacuum Wine Pouch “Vie-de Vin” Launches at Special CAMPFIRE Pricing

Many wine lovers want to enjoy a bottle over a longer period after buying it.

Yet once a wine has been opened, avoiding the effects of oxidation is difficult. Even with convenient preservation products sold commercially, maintaining the wine’s potential over time can be challenging.

Against that backdrop, Inter Holdings Co., Ltd. has developed “Vie-de Vin — Stop Time,” a new wine-preservation product attracting attention as an innovative way to make opened wine last longer.

The product is now being offered directly to consumers at limited pricing through crowdfunding platform CAMPFIRE.

Here are the details.

What Is Vie-de Vin?

Vie-de Vin is a vacuum wine pouch designed to suppress changes in flavor and aroma caused by oxidation after opening and keep wine tasting fresh for more than a month.

Its patented vacuum technology protects opened wine from oxygen and helps prevent deterioration in taste and aroma.

Vie-de Vin was test-marketed to commercial customers in November 2024. It has now been individually packaged for consumer sale, with crowdfunding launched to commemorate the release.

Three Features of Vie-de Vin

  • Feature 1: Powerful Vacuum Performance

Vie-de Vin creates a reduced pressure of -0.095 MPa, producing an environment said to be 99.5% free of oxygen—a very high level for a household vacuum container.

According to the Taste & Aroma Strategic Research Institute, a company that develops food consulting services around a database of more than 120,000 taste records and methods for quantifying food flavor, testing of opened wine transferred into the company’s vacuum container found no change in taste after one month under either room-temperature or refrigerated storage conditions.

  • Feature 2: Easy to Use

Using Vie-de Vin is simple.

First, remove the check-valve cap from the pouch and transfer the opened wine into it.

Attach the check-valve cap securely while leaving the small upper cap off.

Press the body of the pouch to expel air. When liquid reaches above the check valve, degassing is complete.

For storage, simply attach the small cap. To drink again, remove the cap and pour directly, allowing the wine to be stored without contact with air down to the final drop.

  • Feature 3: Low Cost and Space-Saving

Because Vie-de Vin can be reused, it offers a low-cost way to preserve wine without expensive dedicated equipment.

Its compact form also reduces storage-space concerns.
