Free Yoichi Seafood and Wine PR Event to Be Held at Varmen on January 27

On Monday, January 27, a PR event featuring seafood products and wine from Yoichi Town will be held at Varmen on the 2F of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya.

The special dining event will showcase Yoichi wine alongside seafood centered on the premium karasumi product “Kita Kohaku.”

About the Special Dining Event

The event is being organized at Varmen, a restaurant owned by Michelin-starred chef Tetsuji Kakegawa, by Shun Shimada and Yuna Tsuruki, members of Yoichi Town’s Community Revitalization Cooperation Corps in Hokkaido.

The program will spotlight seafood products centered on Yoichi’s new specialty, the premium karasumi “Kita Kohaku,” as well as wines from Yoichi.

Program

The theme is “The Exceptional Taste of Yoichi Seafood and New Challenges.”

The program includes:

・A talk by Community Revitalization Cooperation Corps members on “Karasumi production and fishermen in Yoichi”

・Fusion cuisine using Yoichi seafood, prepared by Varmen’s chef

・“Yoichi Wine,” presented by Yoichi Mayor Keisuke Saito

Participation is free and includes Yoichi wine.

Capacity is limited and reservations are accepted on a first-come basis.
