On Thursday, May 25, "Taste of Hokkaido ~Wine & Cuisine~" will be held at "UNWIND HOTEL&BAR Otaru."
The guest will be Yukio Endo from "Marui Endo Shoten," a liquor store that has handled Hokkaido wine for many years.

"Taste of Hokkaido ~Wine & Cuisine~" is a wine event regularly held by "UNWIND HOTEL&BAR Otaru" since July 2021.
This edition features Yukio Endo from the veteran local liquor store "Marui Endo Shoten," which has been dealing in Otaru-area wines since the mid-1980s, showcasing selected "natural wines" that have recently gained popularity for their low astringency and unique aromas achieved through natural winemaking methods.
Details of "Taste of Hokkaido ~Wine & Cuisine~"
While there are many ambitious young wineries producing natural wine in the Yoichi area as well, this edition selects wines under the theme "Featured wineries of Yoichi Nobori-cho."
Furthermore, wines from Domaine Atsushi Suzuki, which are difficult to obtain due to small production, will be on the list, and a comparative tasting experience of "bottle-aged" natural wine will also be available.
In addition, the hotel's restaurant "THE BALL" will offer a fusion cuisine course paired with this wine list.
Elements of Japanese and Chinese cuisine have reportedly been incorporated into French dishes to complement the gentle flavors of Yoichi's natural wines.
