This event held at "UNWIND HOTEL & BAR Otaru" is part of "Taste of Hokkaido UNWIND Otaru Wine & Cuisine," regularly hosted by the hotel.
Returning to the core purpose of this event—"falling in love with Hokkaido wine"—this edition welcomes guest Sayuri Arai, one of the foremost leading figures in the Hokkaido wine scene.
This event was originally scheduled for Thursday, January 25, 2024, but was postponed due to the suspension of public transportation caused by a severe blizzard.
This time, the event will take place with some course ingredients updated to reflect what is in season in March.

At this event, Ms. Arai—who moved to Hokkaido driven by her passion for Hokkaido wine, maintains connections with wine producers throughout Hokkaido, and has built immense trust with them—will share unique and wonderful anecdotes about Hokkaido wine that only she can tell.
In addition, the wine list has been selected by Ms. Arai, focusing on wines connected to the Otaru area. Wines from the Otaru winery "OSA WINERY" and wines made from high-quality grapes from Yoichi will be served.
The course menu at the hotel restaurant "The Ball Otaru" is created around the concept of "Challenge," offering a fusion of French and Nouvelle Chinoise (Chinese cuisine).
