On Friday, August 22, 2025, the Wine & Beer Museum on the second floor of Yurari-kan in Tomi City, Nagano Prefecture, will host “TOMI Mirai Lab — Connecting from the Fields: People and Food / The Potential of Tomi Wine and Farm Products / Fermentation Dinner.”

About the Special Dinner
The special dinner focuses on the appeal and potential of Tomi City’s agricultural and livestock products, combining a talk session with three guests and dishes made with local ingredients.
It is a one-night-only event where guests can discuss, taste and consider the future of “the delicious things of Tomi City.”
Program
“TOMI Mirai Lab — Connecting from the Fields: People and Food / The Potential of Tomi Wine and Farm Products / Fermentation Dinner” will feature a talk session with Tamami Takano, representative of Noranora Farm; Mitsuhiro Umezu, chef at Karuizawa Marriott Hotel; and Shun Furuta, representative of Niji Veggie.
Chef Umezu and Mr. Furuta will also create a one-night-only culinary collaboration for the event.
Guests can enjoy a special menu incorporating plenty of local seasonal ingredients and fermented flavors, paired with Tomi wines.
