"Tokyo Nouveau 2023" is an orange wine created in collaboration between Swimmy Japan Co., Ltd. and Fam Lab. Inc., which creates various projects themed around acting as a "bridge" connecting drinkers with producers such as sake breweries.
It was brewed by Fukagawa Winery Tokyo.
Flavor of "Tokyo Nouveau 2023"
The grape variety used for "Tokyo Nouveau 2023" is Delaware from Yamagata Prefecture.
It is said to feature aromas of citrus peel, ripe peach, and fragrant olive, a gentle mouthfeel followed by fresh fruity umami filling the palate with pleasant acidity, finishing dry with a touch of pleasant bitterness.
Tannins characteristic of orange wine can also be felt.
