About Kisvin Winery
The Kisvin Winery Winemaker's Dinner is a one-night-only winemaker's dinner held at THE THOUSAND KYOTO.
Kisvin Winery is an emerging winery headed by Yasuhiro Ogihara, a third-generation grape grower, with winemaking led by winemaker Mayu Saito, who trained around the world including Burgundy.
Due to its high quality, their wines are featured in Michelin-starred restaurants and international first-class cabins, gaining growing acclaim worldwide.
About the Winemaker's Dinner
For this winemaker's dinner, head winemaker Ms. Saito will be invited from the winery, and navigated by Chef Sommelier Wataru Iwata, the program will fully showcase her deep passion for wine and the charm of Kisvin wines.
In addition, paired with Japanese wine, a course dinner crafted through a Japanese lens will be prepared with dedication by Shota Kihara, head chef of Italian restaurant SCALAE.
Kisvin Winery, weaving a new history for Japanese wine, joins SCALAE at THE THOUSAND KYOTO, a hotel conveying the spirit of hospitality and the wisdom of living with nature in Kyoto, the thousand-year capital.
