"STARRACE KOMORO" is being developed by Greve.t Co., Ltd.
In Komoro, the company has cultivated abandoned farmland scattered throughout the city at elevations of 650 to 950 meters, growing approximately 17,000 grapevines, primarily European varieties.
They aim to respect nature with minimal pesticide use and create flavors that can only be expressed in Komoro City.
The company was selected as the private business operator for the "Komoro City Iizunayama Park Public-Private Partnership Attractiveness Enhancement Project," which was publicly solicited by Komoro City, Nagano Prefecture using the Park-PFI system, and in December 2021, received approval for its open-call facility installation plan (business plan) from the park administrator, Komoro City, Nagano Prefecture.
Moving forward, under the concept of "connecting people and fostering interaction through agriculture," development will proceed to equip the park with winery and shop buildings, restaurant buildings, and relaxation spaces.
About "STARRACE KOMORO"
Construction of "STARRACE KOMORO" began in May 2022, with a grand opening scheduled for March 2023.
Through agriculture and food, the project aims to create recreational spaces and scenic landscapes for people of all ages from both inside and outside the region, contributing not only to the local community but also to tourism promotion, economic revitalization, interaction with nature, and health enhancement, encouraging interaction among visitors and revitalizing the entire park and surrounding areas.
