Mercian Corporation has newly established permanent English tours, the "Château Mercian Winery English Guided Tour," at Château Mercian Katsunuma Winery and Château Mercian Mariko Winery.
The tours will start on Monday, June 26.
Here are the details.
About the Establishment of English Tours
With the vision of "making Japan one of the world's renowned wine-producing regions," Château Mercian has contributed to the development of Japanese wine as a whole by introducing new cultivation methods and challenging winemaking techniques since the dawn of Japanese wine.
To realize this vision, they have newly established English tours with the aim of making Japanese wine loved and enjoyed not only in Japan, but by people all over the world.
They hope to convey the value and appeal of Japanese wine and Château Mercian to visitors from overseas through the winery tour experience.
The Future of the English Tours
These English tours are designed to make full use of the distinctive characteristics of both Katsunuma Winery and Mariko Winery.
With staff guiding in English, they aimed for a tour that only Château Mercian could deliver, driven by the desire to convey the value of Japanese wine and Château Mercian right where the wine is made to inspire and resonate with guests, while also focusing on environmentally conscious winemaking and contributions to the Japanese wine market.
