It is a popular urban winery that has continued to attract attention since its inception.
On upcoming Wednesday, June 29, "Shibuya Winery Tokyo" will hold a winemaker's dinner discussing its future outlook.
This winemaker's dinner is a must-see for Japanese wine fans.
Let us share the details here.
Memorable Wines Make an Appearance!
The featured wines at this winemaker's dinner are "New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir."
These grapes are said to be the ones used in the very first wines brewed by "Shibuya Winery Tokyo," which opened in August 2020 at the Shibuya landmark "MIYASHITA PARK."
These grapes were carefully cultivated organically by Osawa Wines, who have spent over 15 years growing meticulously tended grapes in Hawke's Bay, one of New Zealand's premier grape-growing regions.
At the winemaker's dinner, alongside these memorable wines, the winemaker will talk about the differences compared to the first year, their thoughts on winemaking, and future prospects.
Savor Wine with a Special Course!
At the winemaker's dinner, a special course menu created by Chef Maejima specifically to match Shibuya Winery's wines will be presented.
The course consists of three dishes in total: "Appetizer, Fish Dish, Meat Dish."
In addition, here are the pairing wines:
・Shibuya Winery Sauvignon Blanc Sparkling
・Assemblage Rosé
・Sauvignon Blanc / Pinot Noir
・Osawa Wines Sauvignon Blanc / Pinot Noir
70 ml of each will be served.
