Starting Wednesday, December 1, "SUN," a collaborative wine between "Shibuya Winery Tokyo" and the B.LEAGUE professional basketball team "Sunrockers Shibuya," went on sale.
"SUN" is an orange wine crafted in a color reminiscent of Sunrockers Shibuya.
Let's take a closer look at what kind of wine it is.
What Is Shibuya Winery Tokyo?
Shibuya Winery Tokyo, which collaborated with Sunrockers Shibuya this time.
Some Japanese wine fans may not be familiar with it yet.
Shibuya Winery Tokyo is a "Micro Craft Winery" located in Shibuya's MIYASHITA PARK where you can always enjoy freshly made wine.
It is Shibuya's first bistro & winery shop—a rarity even worldwide—where brewing tanks line up beyond the counter, allowing guests to enjoy dishes while watching the brewing process.
It has become a winery attracting attention not only from wine lovers but also from trend-conscious, stylish people.
About "SUN"
The orange wine introduced this time is "SUN."
This exquisite orange wine was crafted by macerating and fermenting Koshu grapes harvested in Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, with wild yeast for 12 days.
It is an addictive, delicious wine characterized by fresh fruit flavors reminiscent of Japanese citrus and a clean taste, layered with umami and rich body.
By finishing it unfiltered, the original flavor of the wine remains firmly intact.
In addition, the product name "SUN" is derived from the origin of the name Sunrockers Shibuya (Sun = basketball ring), overlaid with the image of a bright, energetic team like the sun.
The distinctive color characteristics of orange wine are also captured in "SUN," making it a special bottle you can only find here.
Enjoy "SUN"!
An urban winery, and orange wine.
"SUN" is a wine packed with keywords that are currently trending in the wine industry.
It is a must-try bottle for Japanese wine fans as well.
Why not give it a taste?
