Experience the Appeal of Sera Town, Hiroshima
The Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project promotes a style of travel in which the hotel serves as a base for exploring lesser-known attractions in the surrounding region.
With the concept “Quest for the Japan You Don’t Yet Know,” the project aims to help travelers discover locally distinctive experiences and hidden attractions around the country.
The Sera Winery tasting event was planned as another opportunity for guests to experience the appeal of Sera Town in Hiroshima Prefecture.
About the Event
Sera Winery in Sera Town is committed to making Japanese wine using 100% Sera-grown grapes, harvested carefully by hand, bunch by bunch.
At the event, guests will be able to taste several of the winery’s wines, including the “Honey Venus Nouveau” released in November, as well as award-winning wines from the Japan Wine Competition 2025 such as “Yama no Mezame Chardonnay 2023” and “Hyakka Yama Sauvignon 2023.”
Guests can also relax while hearing about the wines’ characteristics and food pairings from Yasuharu Hata, the winery’s facility manager and a certified sommelier.
