Sapporo Grand Hotel will hold a special tasting dinner on March 17 and 18, 2025 featuring winemaker Atsuo Hirakawa and four executive chefs.

About the event
The two-day special dinner welcomes Atsuo Hirakawa of Hirakawa Winery in Yoichi, Hokkaido, a winemaker and sommelier with a distinguished career.
The event pairs wines with a full-course menu combining Western, Japanese, and Chinese cuisine prepared by four Sapporo Grand Hotel executive chefs responsible for Western cuisine, Japanese cuisine, Chinese cuisine, and pastry.
It is a luxurious opportunity to enjoy a special full-course menu created for the occasion together with wines selected by Hirakawa.

• Western: Takikawa duck and foie gras pâté en croûte
• Chinese: Hokkaido hairy crab xiaolongbao
• Japanese: Clam and Hokkaido rockfish clear soup
• Western: Jinnai Wagyu Aka baked in a truffle bread crust with Tokachi Gekko lily bulb
• Pastry: Chocolate mousse with strawberries, and more
