Keio Prelia Hotel Sapporo and Sapporo Wine Co., Ltd. Launch Collaborative Pairing Menus Starting November 1!

At Keio Prelia Hotel Sapporo, all five types of wine brewed by Sapporo Wine Co., Ltd. and a total of three pairing menu dishes will be served sequentially starting Wednesday, November 1.

Here are the details.

Background of the Pairing Menu Development

About this pairing menu.

Keio Prelia Hotel Sapporo focused on the high-quality flavors of Sapporo Wine Co., Ltd. and the fact that it cultivates grapes and makes wine within Sapporo City and its suburbs. Driven by a desire to "support local producers by highlighting the appeal of ingredients," the hotel decided to serve these wines and develop pairing menus using them.

To ensure guests enjoy pairings with the wine, the wines themselves are incorporated into the cooking. Furthermore, lavishly utilizing a diverse array of ingredients procured directly from Hokkaido producers—such as seafood from Akkeshi, as well as lamb and cheese from Ishikari Sheep Farm—three dishes of locally produced and consumed menus themed around "Terroir," "Mariage," and "Fromage" were developed through the hotel's distinctive culinary techniques and French methods.
