From February 1 to March 13, 2022, the "Piping Hot Hoto Wine Cafe" will be held at "Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Yatsugatake," a resort hotel in the Yatsugatake area.

Western-Style Hoto You Can Enjoy Like a Snack Makes Its Appearance
At the "Piping Hot Hoto Wine Cafe," Yamanashi Prefecture's local specialty "hoto" is served with a Western-style twist.
Since RISONARE Yatsugatake was built with the image of an Italian mountain town in mind, the dish is said to be a Western-style hoto inspired by "ribollita," a classic winter dish from the Tuscany region of Italy.
The soup offers the concentrated umami of vegetables along with the flavor of Koshu miso.
It is said that you can also customize it to your liking with toppings such as cheese, breadcrumbs mixed with suridane (*2), or black pepper.
*2 A condiment made by stir-frying chili peppers, sesame seeds, Japanese pepper (sansho), and other ingredients in oil.
Incidentally, this hoto is served from a food truck on Piment Street as a light meal that can be enjoyed casually like a snack.
For groups of four or more, it is reportedly served directly in a pot.

At this event, you can enjoy the mariage of Western-style hoto and wine.
Five types of red wines will make an appearance, including Muscat Bailey A wines characterized by fruity aromas, flavors, and a light taste, as well as hot wine that you'll crave in winter.

During the "Piping Hot Hoto Wine Cafe" period, fire pits will be set up along Piment Street.
Pleasant music will fill the space, and live performances by acts such as an ocarina-and-guitar duo or saxophonists are scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays during the period.
