Let's take a look at the details.
Winemaking utilizing local specialty produce
Ahead of the October opening of the "Daido Life SV.LEAGUE," which aims to be the world's premier league, and taking the opportunity of newly adding the regional name "Ishikawa Kahoku" to the team name, PFU BlueCats Ishikawa Kahoku took on the challenge of winemaking utilizing local specialty produce, aiming to become a community-based professional volleyball team even more beloved by the local area.
With the cooperation of "JA Ishikawa Kahoku," the "Takamatsu Grape Producers Association," and "Kahoku City," about 40 players, staff, and related personnel participated in bunch thinning in the vineyard of Ota, head of the Takamatsu Grape Producers Association.
Planning a Dela sparkling wine with secondary fermentation in the bottle!
Going forward, they plan to produce and sell a PFU BlueCats Ishikawa Kahoku original sparkling wine utilizing the Takamatsu grapes (Delaware) thinned this time as well as those collected from various growers.
The variety is Delaware, and they plan to produce a cloudy sparkling wine made with secondary fermentation in the bottle.
It is scheduled for completion around early December, and the name will be openly solicited from the players.
Only 900 bottles are expected to be produced, so if you are interested, why not keep an eye out for updates?
